What are some of the benefits of therapy?
The simple, yet brave, act of talking to another who’s got your best interest in mind can be empowering and life changing. You and the therapist work together on helping your life become more your life. Personal growth is an ongoing journey on which we can learn something new about ourselves and others. I believe that all people can benefit from having an objective and connected person to share thoughts and frustrations with.
What are your fees? And do you accept insurance?
My fee is $110 per hour long session. I do offer sliding scale fees, let’s talk! I accept the following insurance: Aetna, Cigna, BCBS/Anthem, United HealthCare, Oscar and Oxford. I can provide you with an invoice for services that you may be able to submit to your insurance company for Out of Network benefits.
What kind of payments do you accept?
I accept almost all forms of payment: cash, checks, credit cards, FSA/HSA cards, Cash App, and PayPal , to name most!
Is there a Cancellation Fee?
Yes, if you cancel under 24 hrs of the appointment time, you will be charged half of your fee. If you cancel the hour before or at your appointment time, you will be charged your full fee.
Where is your office?
My office is in beautiful downtown Decatur. Close to the Decatur MARTA station.
Do you write letters for HRT and surgery?
Yes. I have provided letter to many doctors in the metro area and out of town. After an evaluation, she can write a letter of recommendation for transgender clients to receive hormone replacement therapy and gender confirmation surgery. There is a $20 fee for letter writing.
